This tiny spider (no more than 3 or 4mm) appeared three times on my steel back fence over eight years. Each time I would send a photograph to Ron Atkinson and he would try to identify it. The first pictures were awful and must have frustrated him. It is good that he is so stubborn, Eventually there was the body of work shown on this page and it was enough to try for an identity. That is all I know about this spider apart from the fact that they appeared in spring and mid to late summer. One of these may be T. simpsoni
